The Client
The Brewery Consultant Group, located in Portland, Oregon, provides a variety of business development consulting services for the beer and sake brewing sector.
The Task
BCG desired a professional looking presence, one that lent itself well to the brewing community in which they consult. The site needed to introduce their services simply, and be a general resource for the beer and sake brewing sector. They also needed a content management system to make website changes on their own.
The Result
We designed the home page to reflect BCG’s community of professional beer and sake makers, which was done using a color pallet consistent with this sector. Because it is a professional group and not an actual brewery, the structure we created was more academic in style, while using large images within the header’s slider to make the site more appealing. Below the header is their blog, accompanied by BCG’s two main areas of service: beer and sake. Social media, via Facebook, is streamed into the home page unobtrusively via a tab the visitor can elect to activate.
The website is built on the WordPress platform, the client has complete control over content and users.
