Client

Sai Thai Cooking School, formerly @ Home Thai Cooking, is one of several businesses that offer Thai cooking courses on Koh Lanta, Thailand. Sai Thai’s niche is for the more advance student and restaurant professional.

Our Task

The client needed a complete branding and website makeover. The original name had not been well thought out, and the website they had was created by a friend as a first project. So, we started by changing the name from @ Home Thai Cooking to Sai Thai Cooking School, and kept only one part of the original logo for continuity. Then we went about putting the joy of cooking at Sai Thai in a visual form.

The Result

Sai Thai now has a beautiful looking website that visually speaks what it is like to learn how to cook Thai food well, while enjoying the process. The new site is now mobile device-friendly, and can be updated quickly and easily using the dashboard tools.

Client

Karnali Excursions is an adventure travel operator in Kathmandu, Nepal. KE brings visitors to Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan with scheduled and customized trips. They also offer pilgrimages and spiritual journey’s to Holy Mt. Kailash trough their affiliate company, Kailash Trekking (also created through WebsiteBrew).

Our Task

The client needed to easily showcase their extensive tour options within a search mechanism that would be easy to use. They needed a design that would be as inviting to the viewer as the locations the customers are taken to, a website that would be far more easy to update, and they wanted their content to be nicely accessible on various mobile devices.

The Result

With the employment of a custom template, the menu of trips are now easily and uniformly entered into the database. The result is a visually pleasing, consistent, posting of all their available trips. The customer is now able to choose trips by such factors as: type (tour vs. trek), popularity, location, length of time, and level of difficulty and other categories. And since the website is built on the WordPress platform, the client has complete control over content and users. Moreover, the client has the ability to design new pages and posts via a drag-and-drop interface. And, of course, the website is beautifully responsive on various viewing sizes and devices.

By creating a custom template (custom post type), the menu of trips are now easily and uniformly entered into the database. The result is a visually pleasing, consistent, posting of all their available trips. The “Your Trip Finder” employs several search mechanisms that is both predictive and menu selected. The customer is now able to choose trips by such factors as: type (tour vs. trek), popularity, location, length of time, and level of difficulty. And since the website is built on the WordPress platform, the client has complete control over content and users. The website is also responsive on various viewing sizes and devices.

The Client

Culmination Brewing is built around the idea that sustainable manufacturing and building practices can and will lead to superior products and customer satisfaction. Great beer, with good food and community can be brought together in one concept, under one roof.

Our Task

Culmination Brewing needed an uncomplicated format, but with applications that would allow them to showcase their product line, post timely information, manage their calendars and events, and share their social media content more dynamically. They also needed to be able to maintain their website easily on their own–and the site needed to be mobile device-friendly.

The Result

We designed the home page to focus on Culmination Brewing’s local community (which is in the Kern neighborhood), since company’s brand reflects an old-world approach to beer making and taproom persona. Below the scroll offers the visitor opportunities to not only better know the product line, but to engage themselves via blog, public calendar, social media streams, and secondary choice points.

Since this new website is built on the WordPress platform, the client has complete control over content and users. And by applying BootStrap styling, the website is responsive on various viewing sizes and devices.

Brewery Consultant Group

The Client

The Brewery Consultant Group, located in Portland, Oregon, provides a variety of business development consulting services for the beer and sake brewing sector.

The Task

BCG desired a professional looking presence, one that lent itself well to the brewing community in which they consult. The site needed to introduce their services simply, and be a general resource for the beer and sake brewing sector. They also needed a content management system to make website changes on their own.

The Result

We designed the home page to reflect BCG’s community of professional beer and sake makers, which was done using a color pallet consistent with this sector. Because it is a professional group and not an actual brewery, the structure we created was more academic in style, while using large images within the header’s slider to make the site more appealing. Below the header is their blog, accompanied by BCG’s two main areas of service: beer and sake. Social media, via Facebook, is streamed into the home page unobtrusively via a tab the visitor can elect to activate.

The website is built on the WordPress platform, the client has complete control over content and users.

The Client

Stan Sholik Photography is a commercial, advertising, food and illustrative photography studio in Orange County, California.

Our Task

SSP needed a robust and user-friendly blog to complement their main website. The look had to be a “sensible design”, showcasing not only the portfolio but the blog articles and other literary endeavors. It had to be a responsive website, one that would be easy for the client to make content edits.

The Result

We designed the site with a magazine format in mind. This way, the client can layout photos and articles in a fashion that is emblematic of the profession. Primary areas of interest are showcased on the very top, with the blog content and portfolios below–but above the scroll. The use of the “old school” left sidebar employs plugins to manage mailing list additions and social media interests.

This blog is built on the WordPress platform, which means that the client has complete control over content and users. And by applying HTML5 and CSS3 styling, the website is responsive on various viewing sizes and devices.

Noon Restaurant & Bar

The Client

NOON Sunset Viewpoint Restaurant is located on the island of Lanta in southern Thailand. Noon offers affordable wines and creative foods within three cliff-side terraces, offering a stunning view of the Andaman Sea.

Our Task

Noon needed a bright and informative design, with applications that would allow them to handle reservations, showcase their various menus, manage their event calendar and posts, and share their social media content without have to leave the page. They also needed to be able to maintain their website easily on their own. They needed to do this within a very limited budget.

The Result

We designed the home page to focus on the main attraction of Noon, their breath-taking cliff-side location over the Andaman Sea. On the Home page, below the image slider, are announcement areas for upcoming events, along with a live stream from their very active Facebook account. Key product pages include: food, wine and cocktail menus, a booking page, events calendar and cooking school page.

Since this new website is built on the WordPress platform, the client has complete control over content and users.
